Anyway, Jeremy Williams, a pixel art master, has created a a grid of 256 ultra-bright LED pixels which has 5 days left on the Kickstarter, which he calls the Game Frame. You display pixel art on it, and because it's electronic (no shit), then you can also make animations. It also comes with some pre-installed art by E-Boy! Oh yeah, and you can edit the coding to make games like Brick Breaker, which is again, pre-installed. It's a simple idea, but it looks seriously awesome. Pixels are art.
I love pixel art, and most people who can be bothered to read this probably do. Great indie titles have come out of it, but remember 'Ye Olde Days', where pixel art didn't exist for games? That was because it had to be pixelated. Then again, 10 years from now, we'll probably call Skyrim pixelated.
